My Story

I do more than put my shoes on.

Most days, putting my shoes on means walking to the other side of my house, stepping into my office, and sitting down at my sewing machine.

That’s where I spend my time now, creating.

What started out of necessity has turned into something much bigger. I began designing my own wheelchair bags because I couldn’t find anything that actually worked for me. Simple problems, frustrating solutions, so I made my own.

Now I still make those same practical, useful products, but I also teach others how to sew through my community. I love helping beginners build real skills and create things they can actually use in their everyday lives.

This is what my “workday” looks like now. Creating, teaching, and continuing to build something meaningful out of everything life has thrown at me.

If you’re here because of my book, this is where that story continues.
