📘 About the Book & Journal

Q: Why did you write Put Your Shoes On?
A: I didn’t set out to write a book. I set out to survive. This story started as raw journal entries during some of the hardest years of my life: chronic illness, PTSD, and stage 3 cancer. The idea to turn it into a book hit me in the middle of the night, and I couldn’t shake it. What kept me going? Putting my shoes on every day, even when it felt pointless. This book is for anyone who’s ever had to claw their way forward when life knocked them flat.

Q: Is Put Your Shoes On just for people with chronic illness or cancer?
A: Not at all. It’s for anyone who’s been through something hard and is figuring out who they are now. Illness, grief, burnout, identity loss—if you’ve ever had to rebuild from the ground up, this book is for you.

Q: What kind of journal goes with the book?
A: It’s a companion journal designed to help you track your small wins and shift your mindset. When I started journaling my own journey, I realized I was already doing powerful things. I just hadn’t noticed them yet. Writing it down helped me see the habits that were quietly keeping me going. This journal is here to help you find your version of that.

Q: Are you planning to write another book or a sequel?
A: Maybe. I have ideas, but nothing officially in motion yet.

🛒 Ordering & Shipping

Q: Are the books personally signed?
A: Yes. If you order a signed copy, I’m the one who signs it.

Q: Can I buy the book in stores or is it only available online?
A: Right now, it’s only available through Amazon and this website. I’m open to having it in physical stores, but I haven’t worked out the logistics yet.

Q: How are items shipped?
A: Signed books and bundles ship directly from me. Print-on-demand items like apparel or mugs are made and shipped by a trusted third-party partner, so they will arrive separately.

Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Signed books ship as soon as possible. I do my best to keep them in stock, but I’ve sold out more than once. Check the product listing for the current estimated ship date. Print-on-demand items may take 7–10 business days to process and ship. You’ll get tracking info once your order is on the move.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: I currently ship signed books within the U.S. only. Some print-on-demand items may be available internationally. Check individual product listings for availability.

Q: Can I return or exchange an item?
A: Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for non-custom items. If something arrives damaged or isn’t quite right, contact me and I’ll make it right.

A: I don’t send out newsletters. I’m active on Facebook and Instagram, and those are the best places to connect and stay up to date on what’s going on.
